The 7th Annual Birthday Toy Drive and Party has come to a close, and we have to say, we did AMAZING this year!
Before we get into all the fun details, we need to share how thankful we are for so many of you!

Secondly, we’d like to thank our raffle donors! Each year, we ask businesses and friends to donate items to our raffle table at the Birthday Toy Drive Party, in which 100% of the funds are donated to The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh. This year, we had amazing raffle items like a night’s stay at The Oaklander, Pirates tickets, multiple gift certificates, gift cards, and much more! We love the raffle table because it sparks a lot of conversation, fun, and everyone’s so excited to see if they win. We’d also like to give a HUGE shoutout to our friends Ray, Shana, Mike, and Lauren for helping with the raffle this year! Our volunteers are always amazing! Next up, we’d like to thank our support team! Each year, we rely on a number of great businesses, friends, and organizations to bring the Birthday Toy Drive and Birthday Toy Drive Party to life. From being a donation drop-off location, to picking up raffle items, to providing fun at our party, we couldn’t do it without them! Lastly, the biggest thank you of all, we’d like to thank our donors! That’s what the Birthday Toy Drive is all about – our donors. Each year, we have a goal in mind for collecting, and thanks to our donors, we have surpassed that! We have donors from all over the country and the world donating, which really brings the whole event together for a great cause. Again, thank you to all our donors, couldn’t do it without you!
Now that we’ve gotten our thank you’s out of the way, let’s recap our 7th Annual Birthday Toy Drive!
This year, the Birthday Toy Drive’s goal was to collect 700 new toys for The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh – this was our biggest goal to date. With the help of donors, we were able to collect over 800 new toys, books, art supplies, and much more! That also means that in seven years, we’ve been able to donate over 1,550 toys to The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh! As of this post, we have more toys in the mail coming to us, and we don’t plan on stopping! Again, thank you to all those who donated, it means a lot.
As a reminder, we keep our Amazon wish list open all year round. The wish list will ship directly to The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh until May 1st, 2025. We also update the wish list to make sure that toys stay under $40 and are what is in demand at that time.
This year, our raffle table at the Birthday Toy Drive Party had all different types of prizes! We had a great time pulling numbers and spreading joy with the raffle.
