School Supplies Donation Guide: Help Students in Need

It’s August, so you know what that means: back-to-school season!

This back-to-school season, let’s give back school supplies with a twist. Let’s give to our old schools — elementary, middle, high school, or even a homeschool co-op.

It’s paying it forward to the next generation of children, while also giving back to your younger self.

All you have to do is visit our School Supplies Idea list, add the items to your cart, and ship them directly to the school. Click here to open Google Maps to find your school’s address.

If your school is no longer open or doesn’t need donations, there are a couple of things you can do:

1. Find a local “Stuff a Bus” or backpack drive! Donate to one of those, and often, you can simply ship the items, and they’ll fill the backpacks and deliver them for you.
2. If you live in Pennsylvania, please click here to check out the United Way of PA School Supply Locations list. This list has locations all over the state with their details: address, website, phone number, etc.
3. If you don’t want to do either of those, feel free to donate $33 as a Backpack Warrior, and we’ll fill a backpack for you! Just go to our Token Master Page and select “Backpack Warrior” from the list, and we’ll put together a backpack and have the supplies mailed for you. We’ll keep this open all year round in case you’re feeling nostalgic.

A Little More

Want to give more than just school supplies, or perhaps you’d prefer to donate something different? Here are two other options for you:

MEL Science Kits: MEL Science Kits come in STEM, physics, chemistry, and medical themes for kids, teens, and adults. They have kits ranging from gem creation to learning how to stitch skin! These are great to donate to schools or local homeschool co-ops.

Just Kids Books: American Bookworms is an online bookstore dedicated to making books affordable for all families. They offer amazing discounts on book series sets, catering to ages from birth to young adult.
