Blu Track

Blu Track is a small, family based company located in Anamosa, Iowa. Blu Track came to be after Randy Belding, the founder, saw how disappointed his son was with the traditional track system he had saved his own money for. After playing together, Randy wanted to create a product which capitalized on their problem-solving skills, learning and creativity. Randy received positive feedback from family and friends as they played with the prototype he developed. This is when Randy and his business partner, Ret. Lieutenant Colonel Jeff Borland, pursued a patent and a manufacturer. Blu Track became both a product and a small business.

Twenty years later, Blu Track is a flexible, two-lane racetrack that provides hands-on learning about gravity, physics, design, and engineering through play. Children of all ages play, create, and discover through trial and error with Blu Track.

Being made in America is important to Blu Track. When Blu Track went to market, it was manufactured in Ohio. When the extruder became available to purchase, Blu Track bought it. Now the track is proudly made by the Blu Track team in Anamosa, Iowa.

Furthermore, Blu Track’s materials and accessories are sourced and made in the USA. Only the Blu Track racers are sourced outside of the USA. Blu Track continues to research other options located in America.

What one idea created is a racetrack system that can be set up on a moment’s notice, can involve the whole family and will last as long as a child’s imagination.
